Merckens brand coatings are a nationwide favorite for candy making, offering a delicious, smooth and creamy flavored confectionery candy coating with no waxy taste. Confectionery candy coatings combine sugar, milk and vegetable oil, making it easy to melt and requires no tempering. If a thinner coating is desired, paramount crystals may be added.

• To add flavor – use small amounts of concentrated flavors (oil based if possible)
• To add colors – use OIL BASED colors.
• Do not overheat, keep moisture out of candy.
• 6-8% cocoa
• *NOTE – “LITE” does not indicate this being a lower fat/dietary version – it is simply the company reference to milk (lite and dark).
